Nina,

Forget hiking in/around San Antonio. Instead, while in the Alamo City, 
enjoy the margaritas, mariachi music, and tex-mex cuisine. 

When strolling along San Antonio's famous River Walk: the San Antonio 
River, today a tame tourist mecca, once channeled killer flash floods 
through the heart of the city during torrential downpours.
