In all seriousness, it's bad enough bashing Wingfoot and/or Trailplace (which 
really serves no useful purpose here), but poor Jack too!  He's a good dude, 
he really is and a good friend and not only beacause I know him.  Besides 
being a very accomplished hiker, he'd literally give you the shirt off his 
back, if you needed it.  Sure he's also very opinionated and wordy (damn is 
he wordy), but for the most part his post are extemely helpful and practical. 
 As a newer member to this list, he deserves a little slack.

Ever hear of the time he carried a lady a couple miles that had broken her 
leg right before Erwin?  Probably not...........
