Well, I can't speak for Celtic festivals, but for those of the Wiccan
persuasion, it's New Year's, on October 31st. (Not sure if the 31st is
their NY Eve or NY Day, but there are websites with more detail.) And
Wicca, of course, is modern-day witchcraft, not to be confused with most
misunderstood impressions of what the general public may "think" it is.
Using the verb "think" advisedly...
