Our weekend included a little hiking, so it was good.  Dan and I heard the 
"Penguin" (Runners World) speak Friday at a dinner.  He is hilarious!  
Saturday was the run.  Dee (Monadnock) ran, too, and met us afterwards and we 
all joined Maggie and hiked Table Rock.  It was perfect weather for hiking 
and the leaves were at their peak.  As if we hadn't had enough, Dan and I and 
Maggie and Philip went contradancing.  It was a costume party and we didn't 
know that, so I guess we left people wondering who we went as!  It was weird 
dancing with a vampire!  Maggie told me that when they went hiking in the 
morning, Philip made her run almost the entire way to Raven Cliff falls 
because he was dying to get back down the mountain and cycle up.  It's one of 
those straight up the mountain roads with lots of hairpin turns roads that 
the cyclists around here love (and those funny looking motorcycles).   So, I 
guess by the end of the day, everyone (including Philip) was happy.  Gutsy
