Well, those links are hardly conclusive. *I* believe the POW
story to (in all likelihood) be false, but mainly because I hold
Mr. Beck's on-line character in high regard. I've read his posts
for years now, and based on them trust his assertion to be 
truthful and accurate.

But y'all probably don't know him from Adam.

I could not find anything concrete on the internet regarding
the POW story one way or the other in the hour or so I scoured
the web. Lacking more "solid" evidence, I should have kept my
mouth shut. But at the very least, the links I posted suggest
that the story might be just so much Bushlips.
