If you remember, Magaroni carried a watermellen up
Katahdin when he finished his '98 thru-hike, and
everyone who climbed Katahdin that day feasted on
fresh, ripe watermellen. So maybe the "mellen" aspect
of his name can be considered trail-related, too. :)
