     And on rainy days, when many people do their first twenty mile day 
     simply because there's no dry, comfortable place to sit during a rest 
     stop, you'll have a place to rest them weary bones.
     
     I was thinking about a vinyl placemat, but the pad idea sounds better 
     since you can use it as a pillow.....Hhhmmmmmmm.

I've finally added a bit of weight to my pack.

Besides comfort, which 
we're not supposed to think about, it kept me warm when sitting on 
shelter floors or the ground. At night, I folded it in half, and it 
worked well to augment my feeble pillow.
