[at-l] Katahdin weather

Has anybody heard from any late season hikers? I fear that Katahdin is now
snowed in for the season...and there is more cold air set to move in by next
week. Looks like snow has probably been a problem for a week or two.


Thought I was on the trail yesterday...I went out for a long ride on the
bike and kept encountering clouds of gnats...sticking to my arms and
legs...making a small ticking noise as they bounced off my helmet and
glasses...and me making small gagging noises as I ingested a few of the
boogers. I stopped to get something to drink at a local park and was greeted
by wide-eyed stares from the locals.

If Orange-bug carries a c***p*****, it will surely curse the Braves...hope
he thinks twice!
