I don't think so.....the West Branch of the Pleasant River is 34 miles north 
of Monson, and from the sounds of it, Mara was south of Monson....musta been 
another West/East Branch River she was at...possibly, just a guess, the 
"Piscataquis" River...

Good to hear she's so close to Katahdin!
