Most of the Trail Dazed [and confused] carpool went out for a reunion
backpack this weekend. Datto and I both have the Eureka! Gossamer, but
this was the first time we had them up side by side. They looked
different! Hmmm...As we compared notes, we discovered that we had
different methods of pitching. He showed me how to pitch <heh-heh-heh>
so the vestibule becomes big enough for boots and pack, and I showed him
how to pitch it to decrease condensation. We had had our tents for quite
a while, so this was an interesting experience. In the future, guess
I'll pay closer attention to how other people work with their gear.
