Hi,

Water situation just north of Rt 4 past the Maine Junction this past weekend
was adequate.  Springs near the Shelters on the Long Trail were slow but
doable and several springs crossing the trail were flowing pretty strong.
But my guess that it was due to the heavy rain this past midweek.

Can I add my request to this?  Any word on water from Tyringham, Ma
north to Sherburne pass?

I may pass you...  I am starting the same day from Tyringham, Mass and
plan to land at Rt. 4 on October 8th (anybody want to place bets on my
ability to keep a schedule for 2 weeks?).
