I'm always amazed when I think of those folks who first explored these
places in which we hike: Lewis & Clark, Bartram, etc. They went away with a
lot less on their backs than we, and came back home with BOOKS full of
descriptions and pictures. More power to you Datto ... and I hope you'll
post some for us to see. Cameras don't always record what we observe, so
I'm hoping you have a scanner or know someone who does so we can see your
drawings.
Speaking of which, I've promised my overseas nephews a hike on the
Appalachian Trail when they come back on home leave. The first grader calls
it the "Application" trail and the two boys drew some pictures of what they
imagined, from Jordan, it would look like.
