It does, especially on a Thermarest.  I didn't want to put anything on my
tent that hadn't been 'approved' by Stephensons in case there was some
problem.  So here's what I did.  I set the tent up in the basement (it was
winter in New England) and 'painted' lines across the floor with the
silicone seam sealing that they sent with the tent.  I only painted 3 lines
all the way across (about 1.5" wide)... one at about shoulder location, one
at about hip location, and one half-way between.  It worked like a charm
and I didn't have to worry about waking up bunched up in a corner of the
tent because I had slid on a 0.5% grade during the night!  That stuff is
VERY slippery!
