Hi Gang,
We have had some discussion here about the merits of using a
micro-casset recorder for your hiking journals. My Radio Shack cheapo
model weighs 8 oz. Panasonic makes a nice (with batteries) 2.4 oz
alternative for $99. (Office Max). Recording time is limited to 60
minuets and 99 individual recordings. Each recording is numbered, also
time and date stamped and can be individually played or erased at any
time. The 2 AAA batteries last about 8 hours.
