I'm hoping to hike into the Grand Canyon on the last day of the old year and
hike back out of the Grand Canyon on the first day of the new year.  This
supposes, of course, that I can free up enough time to get to Arizona and
back w/o flying on a plane.

(used to work in the software biz, so I'm a little nervous about all of that
code.)
