        My Merrills crapped out after two years.  I switched over to Vasque
and love them.  The Vasque's are on year three and only now showing sign of
tiring out (mostly the soles, damned rubber).  Give the Vasque's a try on
and see how they feel.  I really like them.  My feet aren't that narrow
though, but they are bony.
