Momentarily de-lurking...

Is there a website or some other resource that pulls together a
comprehensive list of directions, public transit options, etc. to the AT
trailheads from the major metropolitan areas on the East Coast?  I've got a
lot of it worked out from the Phila. area north to Maine, but as I start to
section my way south of the Mason-Dixon, I'm hitting unfamiliar territory.

If such a resource does not exist, would one be useful to the AT community
at large? (Pondering yet another project...)
