I have not been following this thread, but I curious as to why you wrote
this email to us.

Gosh, I only recently discovered the AT in northern Georgia, and now that I
have transferred to a job in Newport News, which is only three hours from
Waynesboro, I think it is a wonderful place to hike. For the solitude of the
trail, and the wonderful folks I have meet because of the AT and this list.
