Drank water on the AT above Greenwood Lake Saturday night that foamed
like ale, was browner than ale, but (alas) was not ale. Iodine did not
much improve its flavor. Mixing in ale no doubt would have. 151 proof
rum and Kool Aid helped some.

BTW, the pump below Pochuck is still out.
