I went out on a date last Friday night
With a hiker babe I thought
But something did not feel right
But I just could not say what.

But when the talk got to gear
I finally thought it through
She just bought a bag this year
And she does not have a clue.

When I asked her what brand she had
I had to choke back a smirk
Because she sung the praises of a plaid
But cheap piece of Coleman work!

So the hunt goes on
Will it ever end?
To find a hiker babe
With a feathered friend!  :)

Or maybe it will turn out better
Do you wonder how?
I'll find a babe and let her
