Re[2]: [at-l] wildlife

Hydrodynamics. Aerodynamics is for the dryer stuff.
(What a post. How have I come to this? Friday! Must go home.)

Forgot to explain another thing about your turtle sighting. If the top shell
was not high and rounded, but rather flat, it probably was an aquatic turtle
of some sort, probably a variety of slider. The flatter shape makes for
better aerodynamics in the water. This is the time of year when aquatic
turtles leave the water and come up on the banks to lay their eggs.
