My most frustrating day on the Trail was on Goose Eye Mtn. just south of
Mahoosuc Notch where the wind was blowing so hard it knocked me down
three times, I took off my pack and dragged it across the summit and
part way down the mountain. It was also very poor visibility and hard to
follow blazes. The next day in the Notch was great fun compared to that.
