[at-l] Trip report Kinda...

Weeellll since i have some new gear, I decided to give it a little
test run.  I couldn't go overnite so it didn't matter that I chose a
no camping trail, at least I didn't think it mattered.  About 8 AM,
I stopped  and set up the new tent and unrolled my pad to see how
it would fit.  I was half in -half out of the tent when a ranger strolled up.
Now I have never even seen a ranger while hiking so I was sureprised a
nd even more so with his snippy attitude.  He intended to write me up
for camping in a no camping zone.  I explained that I was just out on a
dry run to test new gear and that I had to be back to work this PM so
I had no intentions of staying overnite.

He then decided that I had just awakened after sleeping in the tent last nite.
I continued to protest politely but he just got nastier and nastier.
Finaaly he says, "I don't care what you say.....you have all the equipement.
That means you're camping.  I'm writing you up!"
So I says..."If you do that I'll say you raped me!"
And he says...."I never touched you"
So I says...."But you have all the equipement!"



Bada Bing!!

OK so it was a baaaad joke..but the way you people have been
carriyn' on  today.....<VVVBG>>    signed k.  who did her first ever
14 miler yesterday afternnon/evening
and it HURTS!!!!!

Quip o the day....I went to school to become a wit, but only got halfway though.
