It's a bit early for thru hikers.  We usually see the real rabbits on Three Ridges (15-18 miles south of SNP) in mid May.  I'm looking forward to seeing some the weekend of May 14-16, on the section from Harper's Creek shelter north to Slant Rock (a.k.a. Apple Orchard Rock).
