Felix,

Talked to Slyman this afternoon from Warner Springs CA. He is having good 
luck again.  Last year, it only rained on him when he was in trail towns. 
This year, hiking the PCT, it is raining in the desert. He is grateful to 
people who sent him packages. If anyone wants his mail drop schedule, let me 
know. He is hiking on a very strict budget. He has already done over a 
20-mile day and is really enjoying himself. Says it is very different from 
the AT and is a lot of fun. Think he misses the shelters though.
