[at-l] FW: Fire near AT in Worthington State Forest NJ



Fortunately the rains came :)

Well should be good for forest regeneration as now we will have some meadows
areas
for blueberry bushes and other shrubs.  Got rid of lots of underbrush. They
think fire
was started by a parking lot. I don't think the black bears started it.

one of the best things for a forest is an occasional fire.. that's is the
only way some seeds sprout and also aides the nutrients going into the soil.

A little blackened in some spots and the April showers are really bringing
out the green now.
