[at-l] Weekend in SNP

Went out Saturday - for once the weather beat the forecast. Very foggy
going up Thornton Gap in the dark, but Mary's Rock was above
the clouds. Cool, windy, and I ended up with a killer sunburn - in 
April! Hiked 6+ miles south to Corbin Cabin Cutoff Trail junction
then back. Saw some weekenders, and a nice couple at Bird's Nest #3 -
Felix: read your November 10th register entry. All in all, a nice
day, but where are the deer? Guess they are still in the lowlands.
