[at-l] Grant Progress

Just to let folks know I had an interview for my grant today. It was
described beforehand as an informal chat but when I arrived I found myself
confronted by a panel of four people, chaired by a real live Lord.  It was
held in a place only marginally less palatial than Versailles and a stone's
throw from St Pauls Cathedral. Sweaty palms or what?  After that llama
eating bears will be a doddle.

Anyway, I hope to know by next week at the latest.  One panel member said I
should read "Dark Mountain" (I think that's the title) which is a novel
about the trail so I'll have to get the library and have a look see.
By the way; trail name?  I think it has to be General Grant but do I have
any say in the matter?
