Wildbill,

The Allegheny Trail found at atatrail.org is not the same one that junctions
in with the AT north of Pearisburg.  The trail organization's web page at
atatrail.org involves a trail from Washington DC to Pittsburg, PA.

The info I have on the Allegheny Trail that runs from the PA border to the
AT comes from the ALDHA 1999 AT Companion, pp 40-41.  It lists the
organization to contact for info on this trail as the West Virginia Scenic
Trails Assoc, PO Box  4042, Charleston, WV  25304.
