Saw Gary & Millie March 5, 6 & 7 at the Florida Trail annual conference.  Doc
Gary gave a terrific talk on emergency first aid--what to carry in your pack,
what to do with common hiking emergencies, etc.  

Not only was the talk very informative and down to earth, it was also very
funny.  We heard a lot of great comments about his presentation.  Only
negative--a couple of folks were looking a bit green around the gills while
viewing Gary's 10th consecutive slide of various feet with nails (the kind you
use a hammer on) or staples run through them.   (Seems some Florida folks can
take gators but get a mite squeamish about those puncture wounds.)

We haven't heard from them since, but assume he's back at the emergency room
in Pensacola.
