Just got back from a quick (5-mile) training hike along the local foot/bike
path.  While I was out, ran into a 12-year old girl who was out walking and
playing with her pet...are you ready?...drum roll, please...FERRET!  For real!

Ferret is named Bandito and is 3 months old.  Was really quite fun to play
with <g>
