Just got a postcard from Quercus (aka Matthew Lodowski) written last
Thursday (a week ago) nite.  He writes:

Spending Thursday nite at Justus Creek.  KC is here as well.  Last night
at Hawk Mtn Shelter, it got down to 19 degrees with lots of wind.  I'm
not making as much progress as I wished but I am having fun and doing it
my way.  Please let the AT list know our progress.
