My vote (for me):
Make-Up --
  On the trail:  thumbs down         Off the trail:  ditto.
Hair: braids work fine. (Off-trail, varies per mood, time, activities, etc)
Nail polish: none  (Off-trail, occasionally -- but always clear)

But, all told, I'd rather vote on issues such as low-impact (LNT), cells, land
use, etc.
