The FCC is passing some new regulations on what a local call is vs a long
distance
call. Apparently some people have figured out that there is some type of
reimbursement charge and these new small local companies get thousands of
calls in ( people dialing
into internet IPS ) and calls out.  After all the ISP only responses.

The FCC is trying to call internet calls long distance NOT local or
something so
the bills are shared more evenly.  It is not a new law, the FCC just issues
a regulation. The FCC says they are NOT doing "internet" control but that is
exactly what it is.  I guess it is just the START.

This is NOT a hoax..  It's new.  Sorry I can't give the reference.
