1)I could nitpick at your list alittle but I won't, it ain't bad, and I'm sure
some of the others will mention the same things.
2)You might want a hat for sleeping, will help considerably on real cold nites
or those inbetween when having the bag zipped all the way is too hot and
unzipped too cool.
Since you haven't decided on a hat to wear; I like Outdoor Research's 'a hat
for all seasons' [campmor 00491] with their 'moonlite pile cap' [#00492]. The
hat is a nylon/gortex with wickline lining; it's a baseball style with turn
up/down ear flaps. The cap is a skullcap with ear flaps that can be worn under
the hat although I have not been out in weather cold enough to do so. The hat
has been warm enough. I use the cap as  the sleeping cap.
3) I didn't see bandanas or duct tape on your list. You are not permitted to
leave the Ranger Station at Amicalola headed for the AT without an ample
supply of these two items.
