[at-l] Gear changes

I played with my gear the last few days and I made some changes in gear. I took the top of my McHale BackPack (12 ounces) Pack now weighs 5 lb 12 ounces. I am doing away with the  6 ounce bug net and sewed in some bug netting (2 1/2 ounces) into my bivy sack. I will use Potable Aqua Tabs (1 ounce) which replaces the Polar Pure (3 ounces),,,may change to the Polar Pure further north. Finally found some Teva Knock Offs at Walmart (5 ounces) and will leave my real Tevas ( 1lb 3 oz) at home. I will NOT carry an eye glass Case (1 1/2 ounces). I have changed my stove from the Mt Lite Propane Stove (5 ounces) to the Esbit stove (3 ounces). Fuel canisters would have weighed in at 11 ounces for the Mt Lite Stove,,,Esbit fuel is 1/2 ounce per tab,,,most I will carry are 12 tabs (6 ounces). I made this change because of weight and I want to know how much fuel I have at any given time,,,I could not do this with the Mt Lite. I have exchanged my Note Pad and Pencil (2 ounces) and will use the Sharp TelMail TM-20 (8 1/2 ounces). This will make transcribing my journal a lot easier for Leapfrog. This will also save us some money on long distance calls because the 800 number can be used to send email home rather than leaving messages on the phone answering machine. This leaves me with a pack weight of around 26 pounds for winter and 24 pounds for summer (without food or water). I knocked out about 4 pounds!!!!!! Now,,,do I really need that ????
Bear Bells and Leapfrog can you add this stuff to my journal? Thanks.
One week to go!!! It is freezing cold in NC! I will be taking All of my winter gear! I should get the rest of my food and fuel tabs by Mon or Tues,,,pack them and I'm ready to go!!! KC aka War Eagle 7 days to go!!!!
