Hiking in a kilt sounds intriguing.  The high socks would eliminate
the need for gaiters and the constant airflow would avoid "jungle rot"
For those of us who cannot trace ancestry to a particular tartan, we would
have to design a tartan for the AT-l.  Any design ideas?
