Yo,
This past weekend the nylon straps on my Leki's rubbed a blister on the
back of my hand. I do not ware them in the proper ski pole fashion with
the strap running across palm, but that's beside the point. I noticed
the straps have become hard and less flexible there by causing the rub
that wasn't there for the past 1000 miles. I have noticed other straps
sometimes become hardened after hiking in precipitation then drying out.
What sort of treatment would be good for straps? Maybe silicone spray?
