Any up-tempo number by Muddy Waters,really gets the ole juices flowing..

"Slim Jenkins Place" by Booker T. and the MG's also seems to get me in a
goodmood.

For a great tune that just invites introspection  "The Ashokan Farewell" 
off the Civil War soundtrack is quite good.

And for overall mood setting?  "In the Hall of the Moutain King"!  :D
