Awk, Now let's spank those maintaining clubs. They painted over the original
AT white blaze and made lots of them blue because they wanted the day hikers
to get to a mountain top and say they hiked the AT. Oh so blue.. or is that
white?

For those hiking from DWG ( NJ ) north, suggest you go straight on GREEN
Dot Dunnfield Creek Trail which essentially parallels the AT for 3.8 miles.

Both AT and Green Dot connect at Sunfish Pond. although a tiny bit longer,
it's through NJ's best ravine, past a waterfall, water source, tallest
helmlocks, a ridge meadow, and a beautiful hike along the banks of the
refreshing creek.

AT is just a wide dirt path with no views with lots of people in that section.
Don't miss the green trail.. sorry purists, missing some of those other
colors, you will miss the best. (http://members.aol.com/visitnj) NJ AT
Trail Guide, with shelter photos, maps, distances, history and more..

OK purity to the archives.. :) Hike your own hike.. Pure is OK but what color
was that trail yesterday and tomarrow ??
