Re: [at-l] 2 cup meals ... was "PAR-TEE"

 to 2cups water
add 2 Ts dried mushrooms
and 1 t dried slivered _sweet_ red peppers
1 packet cream of mushroom or chicken cup o soup
bring to boil and add angel hair pasta
and as much dehyded salmon as you care to
(dehyded salmon is sooooo good, but I don't know
how long it will keep so store it in the freezer till
your support person sends you a maildrop)
return to boil, remove and let stand for 5 min or so
squeeze parkey and dive in

variations.... omit cup o soup
add packet of lemon juice from KFC and pepper
or lots of lemon pepper
or parmesan cheese and olive oil
or coffee creamer and pepper
or dehyded brocoli (rehyde for two hours
actually the mushees and red peppers are better if rehyd also)
or all of the above

Also works with dried or canned tuna
or without fish

Or....
to 2 cup of water add
dehyded canned kidney beans
gravel
pinch of dried onions
dried green and red sweet peppers
slivered sun dried tomatoes
Allow to rehyde for 4 hours
add chili saesoning and sugar
Boil, simmer or let stand

variations..and this one may be considered weird
omit gravel and substitute instant grits after boiling

excellant light weight additions...
a sliced spring onion or RAMPS
excellant heavier addition ....cheese.
In fact, if you get one of those cheese and cracker
snack paks, add the cheese to the top just to warm/melt
(caution...don't stir it in cause it makes clean up harder)
or...break up a pack of those little cheese/cracker sandwiches
(they will probably already break up in your pack <g>) and
sprinkle on top before eating. Actually, the peanut butter and
cheese ones aren't bad here either.

Truly weird....
rehyde dehyded (not dried) corn
slightly brown some sort of onion in oil or squeeze marg
add corn and water
bring to boil
add instant grits and a T or 2 of chunky peanut butter

variation..do instant grits come in onion flavor?

Disclaimer....I have odd tastes in food
Try this at home first
