Got an e-mail last night from Machu Picchu and Huayna. They are in Quebec 
handling some legal matters. Seems it will cost them a couple of months, 
but they intend on continuing their journey as soon as possible. (No, the 
legal matters don't include testifying against me)

Also, just heard from Patch. All seems to be in good order physically 
speaking. Doctors told him so. He called me old man.

Lastly, there is something good about having whatever this sickness is 
that I have. It has killed my ability to taste. Otherwise, I could have 
never eaten that cottage cheese I bought before the thru-hike...
