If you're thinking of "Appalachian Odyssey: Walking the Trail
from Georgia to Maine" by Stever Sherman and Julia Older (1977), it's out of
print, but a used copy is available at $12.50 from Lucienne Elshout Books
in Westmoreland, NH phone 603-399-4883.
If it's "Appalachian Trail: Wilderness on the Doorstep" by Ann and
Myron Sutton (1967, paperback 1976) it's in print and you should be able
to order it at any bookstore. Hard copy is $11.95, ISBN=0397004591;
paperback is $4.95, ISBN=0397011792. Publisher is HarperCollins.
Both are good books. -- Earthworm, the Trailplace Librarian
