The supply of alcohol in many areas of the southern mountains is abundant. Locating the supply point and negotiating the purchase may be difficult, especially given your probable thru hiker costume.
Other points of information
1. do not mention any connection with any governmental agency at any level.
2. quality control is in the hands of the producer and there are no valid warrentees.
3. the dogs do bite.
