I will add these morsels, or confirm his findings:
Denatured alcohol burns hotter and cleaner than Isopropyl.
It is difficult to light when it is 5* out. Keep the stove in your bag.
The efficiency of the stove drops drastically in cold temps. It also
becomes dirtier (more soot) when cold.
(BTW, if the stove catches on fire, and you try to beat the flames out
with a piece of firewood, the threads are likely to be messed up.)
