[at-l] Duraflex Journey Backpack

Fellow Gearheads,
My Duraflex Journey Backpack arrived today. I haven't had a chance to use
it as yet. This weekend for sure :)
3600 cu. in. capacity (according to information tag attached to pack)
Top loading with expandable collar to store those extra loads
Aluminium perimeter frame
420 High denisty nylon with cordura bottom (it looks quite durable)
Separate sleeping bag compartment w/zip-out divider
Adjustable suspension (I like their system)
Contoured shoulder straps (nice and long with several attachment points)
Padded adjustable hip belt
Compression straps (they are to long a good place to lower the pack weight
snip snip)
Load lifting and stabilizing straps
Sternum straps
Daisy chain on rear of bag
Large lid pocket (rear covered zipper ample room in pocket)
Rear pocket (covered zipper pocket has considerable room for maps and other
small items.
2 side pockets for holding water bottle or other items
color teal & black
Weight 2 lbs 13 ozs Cutting down length of straps and sleeping bag
divider will reduce weight by about 10 ounces. Haven't decided what to
trim as yet. I'll carry it for awhile the way it came before snipping
excess weight off pack
Cost $59.95

I bought mine through The Outdoor Store in Kennewick, WA phone:1-888-605-2472
When I ordered mine I dealt with the owner Jay Richards he was extremely
helpful. He shipped it out UPS the next day.
After I've used it this weekend I'll post my thoughts.
Have a good one.
John
