I used to have one. Very reliable once the flames subsided from the
preheating burn. It tended to scare family and friends, although it
never gave me much trouble (a few singed hairs) over 10 years before my
wife "accidentally" bumped it into the trash during garage clean up day.

Frankly, my Whisperlite seems to be just as dramatic, although a bit
harder to start.
