I guess this didn't make it out of my mailbox before.
That's where the arms of the Esbit stove are not at 90* angle --
they're set at 45* instead. The Esbit literature says this might
provide more intense heat. I haven't had any problems with the cooking
pot (Evernew 1.3L Titanium pot) falling off either and I haven't
noticed one way or the other a heat difference. So I've just been
leaving it at 45* for now.
