Yeah, in general I agree. That entry was longer than usual--3 1/2 
pages--because the day was pretty interesting to me and also because I 
had a shorter day the next day that allowed me the time to flesh it out. 
Some of my entries are rather cryptic. That said, I do like to write, 
and my head tends to compose as I walk, whether I want it to or not. 
(Actually, it beats the hell out of 354 renditions of "I've Got Spurs 
That Jingle, Jangle, Jingle"...) 

Sean, my hiking partner for that section, actually was a writer. He 
carried a palmtop, a couple of paper notebooks, and beaucoup batteries 
for his head lamp. Made my writing quantity look meager. Don't care. We 
all have different ways to fill our time on the trail and to remember 
our time there.
