I'm a user of the Peak II (multifuel). Due to my oversight, I
neglected to test mine before my last big hike, only to discover the
little rubber pumping cup was fractured. Now, as Murphy's Law
dictates, I have a spare pump stem, and, of course, I'll never need to
use it as long as it's in my pack. It's a great stove, plenty hot.
Let's face it, it's far easier to "bum" a couple ounces of white gas
from someone than a butane cylinder. I love the convenience of
butane/propane stoves, but you never really know how much fuel you
have left. And I really feel guilty about throwing away the empty.
What a waste.
